The action begins in:

What is R.U.M?

Rodeo, Utes and Music. Combine the three and you have our Burdekin RUM Weekend. Proudly presented by The Golden Octopus Foundation, this unique event attracts some of the best bull riders and rodeo supporters in Australia. Country Music lovers will be entertained by the impressive line up of performers while Ute owners from across the country bring their prized possessions for the enjoyment of all enthusiasts.
Attendees can cheer on Australia’s best Bull Riders from lunch time on Saturday and then dance the night away with live entertainment from the Keely Johnson Band (KJB), followed by RUM's headline event, Australia’s biggest Country Rock Band, The Wolfe Brothers. Sunday presents another action-packed day with one of North Queensland's biggest Ute Musters accompanied by a stellar line up of country music artists including leading Australian Country Music Duo, The Long and Short of It, Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year, Mason Hope and up and coming country music star (as well as avid Ute owner), Amanda Faulkner. Amongst the vehicles on display is the winner of the 2016 Deni Ute Muster and 2016 Ekka Ute Muster, Allan Hamilton and his Ute ‘Demonic’, a celebrity in it's own right!
